CAROLINA GOLD BBQ Ribs

  • ‍• G Hughes Zero Sugar Hickory BBQ Sauce

    • 1 rack of ribs

  • 1. Remove ribs from packaging and pat dry with paper towels. On the bone side, locate the thin membrane. Slide a finger or small knife under it to loosen, then grab with a paper towel and pull it off completely.

    2. Preheat grill to 350–450°F. Place ribs bone side down and grill for 10–15 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for 7–10 minutes, being careful not to burn.

    3. Turn off one burner (gas) or move ribs to the coolest side (charcoal) to cook over indirect heat. Mop with G Hughes Zero Sugar Hickory BBQ Sauce and close the lid. Cook slowly for 1–2 hours, or until ribs reach desired tenderness. Mop with more sauce 1–2 times during this stage to build up a glaze.

    • If ribs are getting too dark, lower the heat or wrap them in foil to prevent burning.
